Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission Electrical House Foundations, Newark -
Construct various foundations for 7 new Electrical Houses and 1 Transformer Unit around the Passaic Valley Sewerage Plant . Scope of work includes grade beams over piles with a 10" thick structural slab incorporated in it, 1 foot thick concrete walls on top of the slab ranging from 3 to 9 feet high, and framed concrete supported decks over the walls to support the Electrical Houses which will help distribute power throughout the plant and it's facilities. The newly elevated supported houses are part of a plantwide effort to avoid potential flooding disasters or events such as Superstorm Sandy that would damage the electrical equipment.
